CHEM 0450 - Medicinal Chemistry Fall (Odd) 3 Credit Hours Fundamental concepts of pharmacology including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, types of enzyme inhibitors, properties of biological membranes and mechanisms of drug action, including specific examples of commercial drugs, their mode of action and specific biochemical pathways affected by the drug. Three 50-minute lectures per week. Prerequisite CHEM 301 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher. Three 50-minute lectures per week. Prerequisite CHEM 0302 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher.
