ART 0485 - Advanced Fibers

Expands terminology, materials, and processes of using traditional fibers as an art media. An emphasis will be placed on working to develop a body of work with advanced technical and conceptual elements using textiles, paper arts and/or weaving. The importance of the roles of functionality and craftsmanship will be examined. Six (6) studio hours per week. May be repeated for a total of six credit hours. Six (6) studio hours per week.
