DH 0160 - Dental Radiology

Theory and principles of radiation physics, radiation biology, health and safety, quality assurance and infection control protocol for dental radiography. Basic interpretation of radiographic findings, recognition, and identification of normal anatomical radiographic landmarks. Methods for exposing, mounting, and care of dental radiographs. Three hours of lecture per week. Course Charge: $45.00 Health Science Program Charge Prerequisites: DH 0101, DH 0103, DH 0140, DH 0150, DH 0180, DH 0220, and DH 0225 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher. Co-requisites: DH 0105, DH 0120, DH 0165, DH 0310, and DH 0350.
