DH 0105 - Fundamentals of Instrumentation

Provides clinical application of instrumentation theory and skills to provide comprehensive patient care. The dental hygiene student will have an opportunity to practice instrumentation techniques on mannequins and student partners in the laboratory setting. This course will culminate with a patient experience appointment. Two 3-hour labs per week. Course Charge: $1900.00 Dental Hyg Special Course Chg, $30.00 Health Science Program Charge Prerequisites: DH 0101, DH 0103, DH 0140 , DH 0150 , DH 0180 ,DH 0220 and DH 0225 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher. Co-requisites: DH 0120, DH 0160, DH 0165, DH 0310, and DH 0350.
