ART 0200 - Arts & Crafts Demand 3 Credit Hours Basic crafts survey exploring materials and processes of traditional and contemporary handicrafts. Investigates historical and contemporary uses of the five core Fine Craft media: Clay, Wood, Fiber, Precious Metals, and Glass. Also the importance of the roles of functionality and craftsmanship. The course consists of lecture, research, hands-on studio projects, verbal and written critiques, and discussions. Lab fee required.
