SOC 0582 - Juvenile Delinquency Fall, Summer 3 Credit Hours Analysis of the historical, environmental, and social background surrounding juvenile delinquency and associated behaviors. Examination of the behavioral content, scope of official delinquency, and contemporary explanations. Focus on the influences of family, school, peer groups and gangs, the juvenile justice system, and current policies and practices. Prerequisite: 6 hours of sociology, Graduate Standing, or Consent of Professor.
