SOC 0510 - Sociological Theories

Examines classical sociological theory placed within an historical perspective. An analysis and interpretation of social groups, social organizations, and social systems through the study of social thought from Auguste Comte to theorists of the late 20th century. Prerequisite: 6 hours of sociology or permission of instructor.
