PSY 0510 - Educational and Developmental Psychology

Demand 3 Credit Hours
A practical application of psychological principles to teaching. Students will learn how research is conducted in the field and how to apply those findings to topics such as child/adolescent development, intelligence, learning, memory, and motivation in their future classrooms. Geared primarily toward graduate students in the Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction program, Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction program, admission to the Master of Arts in Teaching program, participation in the Missouri Temporary Authorization Certificate program, or departmental approval.
