ENT 0340 - Managerial Accounting for New Ventures

Teaches entrepreneurs accounting concepts so they will have background knowledge of the how and why of financial statement preparation as related to managing a small business. Students will learn how to apply accounting and financial records in order to analyze the performance of a small business. Federal and state tax documents and the implication on an entity’s taxes of the different forms of business organizations will also be explored. Finally, students will gain a better understanding of the consequences of noncompliance with taxing authorities. Course Charge: $37.50 College of Business Program Ch Prerequisite: ENT 200.
