SW 0393 - Family and Children Services


Spring 3 Credit Hours
NEW COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course is an analysis of the policies, services, treatment modalities, and related intervention processes related to families and children. The purpose of the course is to familiarize the student with family and children social problems and the importance of services that support the health and well-being of families and children. Prerequisite: Grade of ‘C’ or above in any of the following courses - SW 231, PSY 100, SOC 110, or CJ 100. Prerequisite: SW 0231  with a grade of ‘C’ or higher or special permission by instructor.
