EDUC 0650 - Research Design Fall, Spring & Demand 3 Credit Hours An overview of the various methods used in conducting educational research. The goals are to provide information about qualitative, quantitative, and action research methods and give examples of how each is used in P-12 educational settings to inform critical thinking and problem solving. Students will design an action research project that could be used in their educational environment. Students will also examine concepts such as establishing reliability and validity and research ethics. Course Charge: $120.00 School of Education Grad Prgm Prerequisites: Acceptance to the MSSU Masters of Curriculum and Instruction Program, the MSSU Masters of Education Administration, or the MSSU Masters of Arts in Teaching Program.
