Economic uses of plants in the past, present, and future. Emphasis on economic aspects of plants in medicine, agriculture, horticulture, and industry. Includes the history of plant domestication facilitated by natural selection and purposeful breeding and an overview of plant chemistry, morphology, and reproduction pertinent to economics.
