PARA 0425 - Community Paramedic

Community Paramedic is the presentation of theoretical concepts that are presented in the Community Paramedic Skills course in the real world setting. Particular emphasis will be placed on advanced assessment, skills and critical thinking aspects of treatment of the patient in a home or community setting without transport. Four hours of lecture per week is required as well as online testing and assignments. Course Charge: $60.00 Health Science Program Charge Prerequisites: Paramedic Certification and Departmental Approval. Co-requisites: PARA 0426 and PARA 0427 .
