Nutrition and diet as related to dental health, biochemistry of digestion and the utilization of nutrients. Special emphasis on dietary analysis as part of total health care and the role of the dental hygienist in providing nutritional counseling. Two hour of lecture per week. Course Charge: $30.00 Health Science Program Charge Prerequisites: DH 0101, DH 0103, DH 0140, DH 0150, DH 0180, DH 0220, and DH 0225 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher.

Co-requisites: DH 0105 , DH 0120 , DH 0160 , DH 0165 , and DH 0350 .
