PSC 0364 - War and International Security Fall, Spring 3 Credit Hours Provides an overview of major theories of international security and discusses important debates in that field. Students will be exposed to topics such as the factors contributing to the onset of interstate and intrastate wars, trade interdependence and peace, economic develop and growth, domestic politics and security policy, regime types and their relationship to war, and international institutions and peace. Students will also consider the most pressing security issues and challenges of the 21st Century, including terrorism, the rise of new global powers, and climate change. Prerequisite: PSC 120 American Government. Prerequisite: PSC 0120 American Government.
