BIO 0109 - Principles of Biology I Lab

Fall, Spring 1 Credit Hour
The laboratory component for the first in a two-course introductory sequence for biology majors. The unifying principles of living organisms including scientific method, biological molecules, cell structure, function and metabolism, genetics, evolution, and a survey of Prokaryotes and Protistans. One three-hour lab per week. Prerequisites: an ACT comp score of 21 or higher; or BIO 0101  with a grade of C or better. Co-requisite: BIO 0108  . High school chemistry strongly recommended. MOTR: BIOL 150L (with BIO 108) One three-hour lab per week.
