PHYS 0360 - Mathematical Methods Physics Fall 3 Credit Hours This course introduces the mathematical techniques used in upper level physics classes. Topics covered will include: Vector calculus, matrices, Fourier analysis, the calculus of variations, complex variables, ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, and their application to Physics problems. Three hours of lecture per week. Three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisite: PHYS 0270 with a grade of C or better : Corequisite: MATH 0322 or permission of the instructor
