History, production, and performance of musical theatre. Academic concentration on scenes from musicals with emphasis on acting, music, and dance techniques needed for musical productions. Focus is on representative musicals from the past fifty years and specifically on the musical selected for production the spring semester of that school year. Course also offered under MUS 0243.
