NURS 0360 - Mental Health Nursing

Fall, Spring 4 Credit Hours
Focuses on assessment, promotion of mental health, and care of the person with variances in mental health. Use of therapeutic communication and the nurse-client relationship are emphasized. Two hours lecture, six hours of clinical per week. Two hours lecture, six hours of clinical per week. Prerequisites: Minimum 2.0 GPA in prior semester in NURS 0305  , NURS 0310  , and NURS 0320 . Concurrent with NURS 0340  , NURS 0370  and NURS 0380  .
