ANTH 0342 - Comparative Cultures

A comparative study of human society and culture, focusing on theories of culture and cultural institutions as they relate to contemporary preindustrial peoples. An ethnographic examination of representative groups is provided for purposes of cross-cultural comparison. Prerequisite: SOC 0110 or ANTH 0155 or consent of instructor.
