NEW COURSE DESCRIPTION: In-depth study of short fiction from approximately 1800 to present. Emphasizes close reading/study of text-both form and content. Draws upon classic and contemporary works from a range of times, philosophies, cultures, styles and techniques. Prerequisites: ENG 101 and ENG 102 OR ENG 111.
