ECON 0101 - Economics of Social Issues Fall, Spring & Summer 3 Credit Hours This course will introduce students to the application of economic decision making in a discussion of current social and economic issues, focusing on today’s most pressing social and economic problems from both a domestic and global viewpoint. Topics will include but not limited to the economics of education, health care, crime, drugs, inflation, poverty, urban congestion, international trade and environmental pollution. Fulfills general education requirement for Area E2. Not for Business majors.
