ART 0212 - Introduction to Printmaking

Fall & Spring 3 Credit Hours
Introduction to the printmaking tools, materials, techniques, and process of the (1) Intaglio: etching, drypoint, aquatint, and softground (2) Lithography (3) Monotype and monoprint (4) Relief: woodcut, linocut. Emphasis on drawing and design. Six studio hours per week. Lab fee required. Prerequisite: ART 0130.
