PSY 0491 - Internship in Psychology

Demand 3 Credit Hours
Designed to assist students in gaining practical experience to help them prepare for future graduate school or career goals. Students will work with their instructor and a supervisor at their internship site to develop specific goals and objectives for their time at the site based on their own needs. In addition to spending at least 120 hours at their internship site, students will complete regular course activities and assignments designed to connect their internship experiences to their professional development and career planning. Prerequisites: 2.5 GPA, junior standing, 6 completed credits in Psychology, and enrollment consent of internship course instructor after submitting a completed course application and securing a position at an approved internship site.
