Summer 3 Credit Hours
This course offers a comprehensive overview of key linguistic concepts and branches, including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and sociolinguistics. Students will delve into the dimensions of grammar and their application in teaching practices to help learners develop a solid understanding of English grammar. Additionally, the course will explore the structure and function of language components and their intricate relationship with society, cognition, and culture. Prerequisite: Sophomore status. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing.
