Intended to provide students with an overview of financial management and economics in sport and recreation industries, specifically the application and understanding of financial concepts within sport and recreation businesses. Focus is placed on revenue generating processes of various sport and recreational organizations. Particularly, students learn about the importance of pricing strategies for maximizing revenue in sport and events.
