ART 0334 - Mural Painting

Demand 3 Credit Hours
A hands-on study of mural creation, covering the history and applicable theories of public art. Special emphasis will be on the contemporary community mural movement. Primarily a studio course, practical design projects will be supplemented with visits to area murals, lectures and relevant writing assignments. Class will work collaboratively on multiple mural projects. Six (6) studio hours per week. Six (6) studio hours per week. Prerequisite: ART 0232 or permission of the instructor.
