KINE 0135 - History and Philosophy of Physical Education

Spring 3 Credit Hours
Exploring the historical heritage of Physical Education and Sport from ancient civilizations to modern America. Analysis of contributions of significant philosophers. Investigation of various societal trends and scientific developments that have affected Physical Education and Sport, including technology, and development of instructional models. Prerequisite: KINE 113 or concurrently enrolled. Prerequisite: KINE 0113  or concurrently.
