CHEM 0151 - General Chemistry I

Fall, Spring, Summer 5 Credit Hours
Introductions to theories of chemistry with emphasis on the relationship of structure to properties of matter, the changes that occur during chemical reactions, and the quantitative aspects of these changes. Four 50-minute lectures, one 160-minute laboratory per week. Prerequisite: Math ACT score of 27 or higher or a grade of ‘C’ or better in MATH 130 or MATH 150. MOTR#: CHEM 150L.

Four lectures, one 3-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisite or co-requisite: MATH 0140 or higher level math course.
