HS 0412 - Managing and Leading Long-term Care for the Aging


Fall 3 Credit Hours
Provides students with an overview of the healthcare sector, “Long-term Care”, focusing on care for the aging population. The course provides in-depth instruction regarding the multiple aspects of long-term care. The instruction is intended to be broad enough to benefit all students interested in healthcare management, administration, and leadership, while being in-depth enough to significantly advance the learning of future long-term care managers, administrators, and leaders and help prepare them for successful careers in this rapidly expanding and important segment of healthcare. Prerequisites: HS 0360 Health Policy and Junior or Senior standing. Course Charge: $45.00 Health Science Program Charge
