MUS 0616 - Graduate Applied Brass

Fall, Spring, Summer 1-6 Credit Hours
Reinforces fundamentals of brass playing, including (but not limited to) tone production,breath control, dynamic flexibility, appropriate vibrato, technical development intonation, articulation, and rhythmic accuracy. Concepts will be reinforced by applying them to major works for the instrument. Course Charge: $40.00 Music Program Charge - Grad Prerequisite: Approval by the Music Department for post baccalaureate studies in Music or acceptance into the MSSU Masters of Curriculum and Instruction Program with advisor approval.
