NEW COURSE DESCRIPTION: An analysis of the policies, services, and related intervention processes related to the care of the aged. The purpose of the course is to familiarize the student with the aged population, the service continuum of care and the policies that have directly and indirectly support the elderly in our society. Prerequisite: Grade of ‘C’ or above in any of the following courses - SW 231, PSY 100, SOC 110, or CJ 100. Prerequisite: SW 0231  with a grade of ‘C’ or higher or special permission by instructor.
