SPAN 0491 - Internship in Spanish Demand 1-8 Credit Hours Off-campus work experience in areas related to professional goals of students for advanced students in Spanish. Application must be made during the first half of one semester for the following semester and it must be approved prior to enrolling. Students work under joint supervision of a faculty member and a representative of the organization providing the intern experience. A student may repeat the course to a maximum of 8 hours credit. Prerequisites: Completion of a minimum of 3 credit hours of upper-division Spanish or equivalent and approval of Department Chair. Some internships may have specific prerequisites. Guidelines for the internship program are available in the department’s offices and must be followed. Course Charge: $5.00 Modern Language Prof Assmt, $5.00 Modern Language Voice Thread Prerequisites: A minimum of 18 hours in Spanish with a minimum 3.0 GPA; approval of department head before enrolling. Some internships may have specific prerequisites. Guidelines for the internship program are available in the department’s offices and must be followed.
