KINE 0385 - Nutrition for Human Development


Fall, Spring & Summer 3 Credit Hours
NEW COURSE DESCRIPTION: Students will examine nutrition associated with human development and performance. Emphasis on the physiological and biochemical basis of nutrient absorption and utilization. Particular attention will be given to evaluating and developing strategies for optimal nutrition at various life stages. Prerequisite: any biology or chemistry course, Course Charge: $30.00 Kinesiology Program Charge Prerequisites:  BIO 121 or higher or CHEM 110 or higher AND ENG 0101  and ENG 0102  (may be taken concurrently) or ENG 0111  (may be taken concurrently).
