Cellular and molecular basis of the immune response in vertebrates including structure, induction, and regulation of the immune response. Autoimmune disorders, vaccines, transplantation, and diagnostic immunology will also be presented. Three lectures per week. Prerequisites: BIO 231. Three lectures, one 3-hour lab per week.
