PSC 0434 - American Foreign Policy Spring 3 Credit Hours The course explores the theoretical and methodological approaches used to analyze American foreign policy. The material focuses on the various governmental institutions and societal forces which shape American foreign policy including, executive-legislative relations, the military, economics, public opinion, interest groups, and the bureaucracy. The major emphasis is on American foreign policy since World War Two. Theoretical material is applied to U.S. relations with important world regions including, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Prerequisite: PSC 0120 or consent of instructor
