PHYS 0360 - Mathematical Methods Physics


Spring 3 Credit Hours
This course introduces the mathematical techniques used in upper level physics classes. Topics covered will include: Vector calculus, matrices, Fourier analysis, the calculus of variations, complex variables, ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, and their application to Physics problems. Three hours of lecture per week. Course Charge: $45.00 Physics Program Charge Prerequisite: PHYS 0270  with a grade of  C or better and MATH 0260  or permission of instructor.
