FIN 0420 - Security Analysis

A broad introduction to basic stock selection using fundamental analysis whereby over and under valued stocks are to be identified. The class will construct a common stock portfolio of 0 to 25 stocks. Other topics covered will include: basic schools of investment thought, diversification, quality of earnings, and factors affecting equity ownership.
