EDUC 0316 - Home, School, And Community in Early Childhood Education 2

A survey course designed to acquaint the prospective teacher of young children with the historical, philosophical, psychological, and social foundations of early childhood education; current trends and issues associated with early childhood programming; consequent role expectations of prospective teachers, and field experiences with programs for young children with diverse needs. Required 16-hour internship with infants, toddlers and preschool children. Course Charge: $37.50 Teacher Education Program Chg Prerequisite: Sophomore standing and completion of EDUC 0315 .
