EDUC 0420 - Introduction to Counseling

Fall & Spring 3 Credit Hours
Survey course exploring the role and function of counseling, including theories, techniques, legal issues, ethical issues, diversity, and current issues and trends. Designed as an overview for the classroom teacher and the special educator for use with students and parents: Prerequisite. EDUC 0302 or EDUC 0304. Must be taken after or concurrently with the Junior Block.
