EDUC 0323 - Building Family and Community Relationships

Spring 3 Credit Hours
To acquaint the teacher candidate with (1) the complex characteristics and concerns of children’s families and their communities; (2) ways to support, empower, and link families with key community resources appropriate for specific purposes; (3) strategies to involve families and communities in their children’s development and learning through respectful, reciprocal relationships.
