CHEM 0450 - Medicinal Chemistry Fall (Odd) 3 Credit Hours Fundamental concepts of pharmacology including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, types of enzyme inhibitors, properties of biological membranes and mechanisms of drug action, including specific examples of commercial drugs, their mode of action and specific biochemical pathways affected by the drug. Three 50-minute lectures per week. Prerequisite: BIO 0210 and CHEM 0301 ; or Prerequisite: or co-requisite CHEM 0350 .
