MUS 0106 satisfies 3 hours of General Education Core Requirement area 1A (6 hours required). One Modern Language course satisfies 3 hours of General Education Core Requirement area 5A (6 hours required). An additional Modern Language course satisfies General Education Core Requirement Area 5C. Institutional requirement UE 0100 may also be met by HNRS 0101 (2 credit hours).
It is STRONGLY recommended that students take Class Piano 203 if Piano proficiency has not been passed after two semesters of Class Piano (MUS 0103 , MUS 0104 )
Note: the music content within this degree DOES NOT meet minimum requirements for the BA in Music degree. The minimum undergraduate music requirements permitting pursuit of a graduate degree in music would not be met by this degree track.
